Since December 31st 2006, the Canadian aviation regulations require that operator of an airport provide training for personnel who will manage wildlife issues on the airfield, at least once every five years (CAR, section 302.307).

 

Airport Wildlife Management Training

1-  September 29th, 2017, from 9AM to 5PM (French) – Rimouski Hotel, Congress Center (QC)

2-  November 14th and 15th, 2017 (English) – Toronto (ON), Fire and Emergency Services Training Institute (FESTI) of Pearson International Airport

3-  January 23th and 24th, 2018 (English) – Saint-Lazare (QC)

4-  February 6th and 7th, 2018 (French) – Saint-Lazare (QC)

Cost:

1 –  $250 per person (1 day)

2 – $450 per person (2 days)

3 – $450 per person (2 days)

4 – $450 per person (2 days)

The Airport Wildlife Management Training Course includes regulatory requirements, proper use of wildlife managements tools, case studies and much more. Each participant will receive a training manual. Upon completion a certificate will be issued.
