Located on Toronto Islands, Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport is Canada’s ninth busiest airport and welcomes more than two million business and leisure travellers each year.
FES began doing wildlife characterization and inventories in 2008 at this airport. The following year, FES developed the airport’s Wildlife Management Plan and continues to do updates annually since the airport has undergone expansions with plans to grow even more.
FES also designed the wildlife control program and supports BBTCA in providing answers to any questions they may have about the airport environment.
